Awareness Programs
Domestication of cow had started with human civilization. Animal husbandry and agriculture depend on each other at all times. This is natural across rural India. Cattle are necessary for milk, dung and urine, biogas and also for ploughing and transportation. Knowing all these our ancestors worshipped the cow, conserved it and developed cattle based farming system. Indigenous /Heritage cattle are the best in class breeds on the planet, due to the various benefits that the society can have out of them. Every aspect of these cows is of utmost importance and provides value. The benefits of a collaborative life with these beings can make humans and the ecosystem healthier beyond expectation, which has to be educated to the masses. Our volunteers work at length with the Rural and Urban population in building this awareness.

Herd Health Management
A veterinary medical officer on-call and monthly visit is organized for the wellbeing of the cattle at goshalas. Timely vaccination and precautionary measures are taken to ensure the cattle are maintained healthy and free of any known diseases.

Fodder Management
Fodder is a vital ingredient and needs commands utmost importance when rearing cattle. With the great deal of support by the associated families and members, we are able to cater to large cattle groups. Green fodder, Dry fodder from the shoots of Ragi and Maize are the common food for the rescued cattle. However, for the milch category cows, additional special ingredients including protein supplements to enhance the nutritional value are fed. Few fodder crops are grown including the Hydroponic grass with the help of interested volunteers who serve through relationship donations and through others who leverage their land and other resources for the purpose.

Infrastructure Support
Construction of Gaushalas, temporary structures in famine hit areas for fodder management, Grass cutting machinery, trolleys, building material, Tube wells with Electrical panel, motor & pumpset, renovation activities for better management and any other support structures or enabling materials, stone slabs, pillars, fabricated structures & fixtures and any other similar resources are supported under this header.

Support staff
Goshalas have a huge dependency on the Labour. The support staff in the Goshalas is the backbone of the whole setup. It is one of the toughest tasks to get people to work in goshalas these days. We try organizing the working community for goshalas at all levels. We also support in funding such human resources when required.
